Basic Job Functions:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for general oversight of all projects at NSSED, with a main focus on managing all the division's CEA projects. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Production and Maintenance teams to also assist in improving overall reliability, and also be a resource to the teams during down days and outages. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures and housekeeping standards to make safety a priority always.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering orequivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Understanding of the Danieli Micro-mill process
- Knowledge and understanding of managing Projects
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
