Summary

Responsible for operational project accounting, focuses on client billing to include but not limited to: Labor, Equipment, Consumables, Vendors, Audits and Production that measure the financial impact of Restoration operational activities.

Major Responsibilities

  • Supervise Field Accountant team
  • Monitor inflow and outflow of invoice data
  • Manage Request for information (RFI's) examples include but not limited to: Job Cost, Audit Request, Job Request Analysis and Technology Integration
  • Monthly coordination with Operation and Finance, supporting revenue recognition and documentation
  • Training of Project Coordinators and Project Managers on the process of customer invoicing and the supporting documentation requirements
  • Consistent interaction with President, EVP, General Manager TSS, VP Culinary, Project Coordinators and Project Managers, Legal, Risk, Finance and Sales
  • When necessary refer decision to President LCE
  • Provide instructions and support regarding invoice production activities

Background Requirements

Education:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

Experience
  • 2-5 years' experience managing accounting team
  • 5+ years accounting, invoicing experience
  • Construction and/or Culinary experience a plus

Knowledge and Skills
  • Proficient in Excel running and creating functions, picot tables, and charts
  • Understands Cost Controls in relationship to maintaining and growing profitability
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency within a constant changing work environment
  • Ability to manage team and communicate with various personalities
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time as needed by the business is REQUIRED
