Responsibilities

This position will be responsible to the Assistant Provost for Health Innovation and Strategic Alliances to identify, create, and capitalize on opportunities to leverage and amplify FSU's expertise in education and research, particularly for health strategic alliances. This position will play an important role in establishing, nurturing, and directing new connections and programs that flourish into effective collaborative partnerships to further FSU's strategic goals.

  • Provide strategic and tactical support for high-priority initiatives identified by the Assistant Provost and develop detailed execution campaigns with stakeholders. Provide project portfolio management and strategic support to keep initiatives on track: identifying and implementing action items and milestones; maintaining project timelines and deliverables; providing high-level executive summary and project reports. Develop assessment and improvement strategies for the office of the Assistant Provost for Health Innovation and Strategic Alliances.
  • Responsible to the Assistant Provost for managing the implementation of multiple collaborations with Deans, senior leaders, and university external strategic partners. Develop strategies with the Assistant Provost to successfully compete for large programs and initiatives, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Develops priorities in consultations with the Assistant Provost for the allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop cooperative operational models that minimize hurdles to multi-scale partnerships and accelerate innovation and knowledge technology transfer. Proactively lead engagement with potential partners across the university to establish positive, productive interdisciplinary partnerships necessary for success. Starting with FSU's existing network but going well beyond, proactively identify and engage with potential external partners in Industry, Academia, Non-Profits, and other organizations as needed.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and six years of experience related to administrative services; or a high school diploma or equivalent and ten years of experience related to administrative services. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.)
