Program Coordinator
(Senior Services - Calimesa)
Salary: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Essential Duties:
Day to day program operations. Problem solves program issues and keeps Administration informed of key issues/concerns. Ensures that program remains within contract/funding source guidelines/requirements. Provides program staff/volunteer supervision as delegated Oversight of site COA/CQI requirements including but not limited to: client satisfaction, outcome studies, incident reporting, client and staff complaints/grievances, and case review processesOversight of program statisticsCommunity outreach; conducts presentations, community involvement and participation on key committees, organizations, and collaboratives on behalf of the Community/Senior Center Cross-department creative program responses and innovative problem solvingEstablishes partnerships with local agencies and neighboring cities, communities, businesses, and agenciesOversight of and ensures implementation of Program/Department's Advisory Council10. Program development, implementation, monitoring and quality assurance. The development and implementation of:
- Health and Wellness programming
- Senior programming
- Cross generational programming
- Self-sufficiency programming
- Social and recreational programmi
- Special events
11. Explores new and innovative program ideas while pursuing additional fundraising activities
12. Timely and Regular Attendance
13. Other activities as directed by the Program Services Administrator
Report to: Program Services Administrator
Minimum Qualifications:
BA in social work, health or related field preferred; High school diploma with considerable experience considered.
Management/supervisory experience
Experience in a community-based setting
Background Fingerprint Clearance
California Driver's License and Automobile Insurance
Current and Clean DMV Printout report
Drug Test Clearance
Ability to communicate/interact well with the community, senior citizens, businesses and government professionals
Ability to read and write English and to communicate at the level required for successful job performance
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
Licenses & Certifications:
CA Driver's License
Bachelor's degree in the social behavioral sciences (preferred)
Physical and Mental Demands:

- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Able to mediate issues/concerns and complaints
