Position Summary
The program coordinator is a key member of the Service line. This position will have primary responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of all project activities related to program accreditation. This position will involve both the daily care of pulmonary hypertension patients and the executive administrative needs associated with the physicians and clinical/ nurse members of the program. The program coordinator will be the first contact that the patient or referring provider encounter and thus will need to be a positive, reassuring voice of the program. The program coordinator will perform administrative duties including data collection, tracking, and maintenance of accreditation quality metrics. This individual strives to achieve positive patient care outcomes, satisfaction, and quality according to the standard of care, policies and procedures provided by GW Medical Faculty Associates.
