Right now our 38th St Store in Tacoma, WA store is seeking a Full Time Production Worker!

Salary: $15.74 Per Hour

Position Summary: Production Workers are responsible for processing donated merchandise for re-sale including sorting, and pricing in a warehouse environment. This is a career advancing position. Giving great experience and development skills to pursue advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Production Worker responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Tickets items for sale by attaching price ticket to item
  • Records and keeps daily production records
  • Places ticketed items on or in appropriate transport container
  • Monitors and reports supply needs to supervisor
  • Ensures the area stays clean, well-organized and safe
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Able to work and maintain in a fast pace environment
  • Willingness to cross train in other areas
Product Quality Assurance
  • Inspect, clean, and repair items to be priced and placed on the sales floor
Flexibility
  • Ability to change priorities as business dictates
Product Handling and Sorting
  • Unloads sacks, boxes, and miscellaneous donated items from gay lords or donation carts and transports them to proper processing or storage areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Cultural Competency: Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Not required for this position.

Computer Skills: Not required for this position.

Other Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Production Workers

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Not required for this position.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
