Darling Ingredients is looking for entry level or experienced Production Associates to join our team at our plant in East Earl, PA which is located near Ephrata, PA. In this Production Associate position, you will be cross trained to work and support our plant in multiple areas to support the overall operation of the plant. Job Summary:

Perform general plant labor, to include; housekeeping, cleaning, painting, grounds keeping in all areas of the plant.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• General plant labor.
• Housekeeping, hosing down floors, moping, sweeping, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
• Shovel and clean up spills in the plant.
• Keep barrels emptied of trash and product.
• Clean equipment from top to bottom.
• Help unstop screw conveyors.
• Cut plastic and product off of screw.
• Keep floor drains cleaned out and covers on drains.
• Paint as directed.
• Expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to climb stairs and silos.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, climbing, walking, and working overhead
• Ability to lift 50lbs

Work Environment:

• Inside and Outside
• Hot and cold temperatures
