A Production Artist at PureRed...

• Builds and manipulates pages/files within InDesign, ensuring quality control as well as timely and efficient production. Image manipulation could include silos, retouching, and simple color correction, but certainly is not limited to these processes
• Ensures the production quality control measures are met prior to the delivery of projects. In post-production, will ensure the product is either print or digital-ready
• Makes client and team edits in several different proof cycles.
• Works closely with the assigned Account Executives and other members of the client team, communicating production progress
• Understands that the nature of the beast calls for working under pressure and tight hourly/daily timelines. Work hours could include some nights and weekends depending on the projects and client needs
• Uses initiative and independent judgment within established procedural guidelines to best complete tasks

Required Skills
Qualifications of the right candidate for this role:

• Proven experience utilizing basic knowledge of InDesign and Adobe suite of products
• Experience with typesetting, creating pages, and creating layouts for print is a MUST. Prefer experience with newspaper or magazine page layouts.
• Is flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail
• Possesses a basic understanding of pre-press industry
• Is self-motivated and disciplined enough to effectively work from home temporarily due to Covid-19
• Willing to learn new techniques and software and implement standard directives according to style guides
• Navigates comfortably within Office 365/Office Suite of products.
• Has completed either high school or has GED.
• The ability to perform the basic functions within Illustrator is preferred.

Note: Due to Covid-19, this role will be temporarily remote until it is deemed safe to return to the office full-time. Our office is located in Stone Mountain, GA. You must be willing to commute to Stone Mountain upon our return to the office.
