What You Will Be Doing - Manage the development process through approval of fabric, trim, packaging, and garments. This includes gathering initial test reports, ensuring quality meets company standards, and material costs align with target costs.
- Strong technical designing with pattern making experience for quality product
- Oversee current product improvements and new product development recommending materials and construction techniques that meet design expectations and meet or exceed gross margin targets.
- Facilitate counter sourcing development based on allocation strategy providing warehouse pulled garments, projections, target FOB, and initial BOM & tech pack.
What You Need for this Position - 5+ years experience managing and growing a brand in fashion product development.
- Extensive experience in pattern making on the technical design side.
- Knowledge of fabric and garment costing, fabric development from base cloth to yarn-dye, print, and solid execution.
- Experience in calendar management and trouble shooting off track products to prevent slide escalations.
