Overview

Responsible for leading the aspects of national architectural services comprising, product development (working drawings) and related process improvement strategies.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Relationship management of all production resources necessary to create and maintain the construction documents and marketing collateral.
  • Providing QA leadership to ensure all division teams have the tools needed to be consistent in executing on the intent of design through the construction documents.
  • Ensuring adherence to company-wide value creation process and standards related to the production of construction documents.
  • CAD System Management, content creation, and CAD program troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring plan error EPO's for all divisions to ensure accuracy in reporting, and identification of training or improvement opportunities.
  • Auditing of national plan information held in corporate product portfolio and search tools.
  • QA/QC existing and new plans for adherence to company standards, constructability and code compliance.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture/design from accredited institution with four plus years direct work experience including use of AutoCAD, or a two-year technical degree with six years direct work experience including two years of AutoCAD.


Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work on and prioritize several projects and tasks on a daily basis.


Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience dealing with residential construction, building codes, drafting standards, value engineering and architectural styles/standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD as well as general office software for communication and data analysis.


Physical Requirements

  • Typical office environment/construction site conditions.
