The Product Manager's primary focus is to manage the design and development process for a module, service, or a set of features to strengthen software capabilities that create sticky solutions that excite our customers.

This role is expected to be the subject matter expert in their assigned module, service, or set of features and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to outline and elaborate on a product vision and roadmap.

Serving under the SAFe Agile framework, the Product Manager is responsible for defining the user stories, owns the sprint backlog, and is a key point of contact for the development team for epic and user story details.

  • Develops a deep understanding of the entire customer experience, especially at a tactical and transactional level. This requires travelling to client sites to design, observe, and gather an understanding to be the voice of the customer
  • Collaborates with business stakeholders and team members to assess business value, define, and groom product features
  • Owns, trains, and fights for the business value of features in discussions with the scrum team
  • Collaborates with the agile team and key stakeholders to write user stories and document requirements including defining terminology and diagraming processes
  • Builds and maintains Agile team backlog, breaks features into user stories, reviews and prioritizes agile team backlog for sprint planning, including coordination of dependencies with other POs
  • Works with other team members and Product Leadership team to plan product releases
  • Maintains high availability to the dev team to answer real-time questions and provide clarity
  • Gather product requirements, prioritize feature implementations and improve overall user experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering or related technical field
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager role with experience developing, supporting, or implementing WMS, WES, or WCS software applications
  • 2+ years of experience designing customer or product specifications in the supply chain fulfillment industry
  • Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate and consult with technical and non-technical business counterparts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively guide design, testing, development and implementation
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • Excellent team working skills and experience (influencer and supporter)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Must be willing and able to travel approximately 10-15% - primarily domestic travel, minimal international travel
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile or SAFe Agile processes
