Job Description Summary:
PayPal is more than a just a checkout button, and the Shopping team is focused on delivering new and incremental value to our merchants through a set of advertising tools. The Shopping Integration team builds the foundational tools required to power the entire shopping ecosystem. This role will work closely with the PayPal, Honey, and Venmo teams, as well as our merchant and channel partners. The PM for Shopping Integration will lead the strategy and roadmap for our SDK, Mobile SDK, and Channel Partner integrations.

The PayPal Shopping team is at the forefront of developing new tools for merchants to build better relationships with consumers around the world. PayPal continues to drive value to our two-sided consumer & merchant network with powerful experiences to fuel stronger relationships. PayPal is already a trusted payment partner for millions of Consumers around the globe, but we also have a unique opportunity to help consumers throughout their shopping journey, both online and offline. As consumers benefit from our shopping ecosystem, including the recent acquisition of Honey, their experience can be made even more valuable through robust and efficient merchant tools to allow seamless integration with the network.

We are seeking the best-of-the-best product managers who demonstrate accountability and cross functional leadership, analytical skills, and have deep experiences building amazing products. As a Product Manager, you will explore the problem/solution space, define the strategy and lead PayPal teams through a fast-moving lean process that is fueled with customer empathy. Your role spans all devices (phones, tablets, desktops) and contexts (online, in-person, in-store).

You will also be part of an amazing Product Management team with many opportunities to learn and grow. The ideal candidate is both artist and scientist. Passionate about commerce but equally excited about deriving product and marketing insights from our data. Additionally, they are technical enough to brainstorm with our engineering teams on the appropriate solutions that ultimately help our customers achieve their financial goals.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience with Product management or development.
  • Strong understanding of e-Commerce, online marketing and advertising domains in consumer web / retail industry.
  • Commercial experience in a similar role with expertise in delivering technical products like Mobile Ad SDKs.
  • Experience with offers, deals, rewards and loyalty in the e-commerce space.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing the needs of competing business drivers and stakeholder objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear and concise stakeholder- ready documents.
  • A strong track record of delivering high quality products and customer experiences in a very high growth environment where priorities and structures may shift.

Responsibilities
  • Deeply understand our merchants/partners and their needs
  • Ensure we are measuring the success and efficiency of our integrations
  • Lead the development of key SDK and shared infrastructure capabilities and technologies to ensure we deliver the best and most relevant experiences to our consumers.
  • Assess ongoing ad infrastructure improvements and opportunities to establish a prioritized roadmap.
  • Partner with Channel Partner and Professional Services team to create joint integration roadmap.
  • Evaluate and recommend key ad technology for integration with our existing stack.
  • Optimize inventory and pricing in partnership with consumer personalization teams.
  • Collaborate cross- functionally with product management, engineering, partner success, and game studio stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
