Product Acceptance Specialist C

North Charleston, SC

Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• Verify product conformance to design requirements.
• Provide objective evidence of results.
• Validate work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures.
• Identify and document discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
• Perform preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
• Conduct product review with customer during product or process verification.
• Identify repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED combined with 4 + yeaars of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry
• 3+ years of using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Experience
• Analytical Skills
• Quality Inspection and ability to work in an Aviation manufacturing environment.
• Working in a team environment
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis
• 1+ years of experience using Velocity and CMES systems
• 787 Program Experience
• Experience in a team environment
• Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience
• A&P Qualified
• Some Computer skills or ability to learn them.
• Analytical and problem-solving experience to identify critical activities and tasks within work groups
