Process Technician (3rd Shift Production) Career Opportunity!

We are searching for a Process Technician who is "tech savvy" and has leadership skills. This role is responsible for providing support on all manufacturing operations for Production in order to meet deliverables. This is an integral position within the Production team interfacing and working closely with manufacturing machine operators.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Support operator training on product processes and procedures.
- You will be a big point of contact for the operators- 3rd shift has strong/independent operators. But they may come to you to have questions, report issues.
- Create and maintain process sheets to be used for machine setups as well as for optimal running conditions.
- Partner with Shift Supervisor and assist with the dispositioning non-conforming materials.
- Address production problems and provide prompt resolutions.
- Enter, edit, and approve print legends.
- Attention to detail necessary!
- Create & control in line packets over designated market.
- Sign off on material conformance checks & In line quality.
- Monitor inline systems, recognize issues, and troubleshoot, as necessary.
- Enter maintenance requests for machine breakdowns.
- Perform quality and safety audits as assigned.
- Manage new product development projects on production floor through final reporting.
- Adhere to the core PCA goals of ISO9000 Total Quality Management and be an active participant in group projects.
- Subscribe to and practice 5S, JIT, etc.
What Do You Need to Be Successful in This Role? - 3 Years of practical hands-on experience in a wire and cable manufacturing environment.
- 3 Years of Process Technician or similar role experience.
- 3+ years in gauging and conformance.
- Mechanically savvy.
- ERP or MES system (must be good with computer to be able to work in these systems).
- Good troubleshooting experience.
- Safety minded individual.
This is a full-time, onsite, Direct Hire opportunity in Manchester, NH.
The salary is between $58,000 - $63,000 per year. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
