Description: Our client is currently seeking a Process Industrial Engineer

Job Title: Process Industrial Engineer

Location: Merritt Island, FL

Duration:- 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Job Description:

• Lead manufacturing-related projects.
• Lead operations improvement - ergonomic & human factor, operations plans, recovery planning, capacity planning and capital planning.
• Provide production support - scheduling, theory of constraint, budget & forecast, crew empowerment, defect analysis, core competency definition, make/buy evaluation, benchmarking analysis.
• Identify and prioritize process improvement project - lean manufacturing, engineering economic analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical methods, six sigma and time studies.
• Facilitate system integration - Value Stream Analysis, Facility Layouts, Production Systems Design, Manufacturing Process Design, Systems Thinking, Facilities Planning.
• The hired candidate will execute time-motion study directly on the field. Perform time studies, make observations and form opinions regarding issues identified, their cause and possible solutions.
• Performs analysis aimed at improving operations, determining hourly labour requirements, and developing planning standards. In addition, assists with analyses that are smaller subcomponents of larger more complex projects.

Qualifications:

• BS in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning.
• Factory flow, process modelling and simulations experience.
• Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.
• Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.
