YOUR ROLE

  • The main role of a Process Improvement Manager is to develop, implement, coordinate and manage key process improvements / change projects to existing and new processes within Saint Louis, MO Facility
  • Analyzes production and facilities operations/issues, performs necessary engineering design and layout, prepares cost estimates, and makes recommendations to meet specific project needs
  • Investigates, evaluates, and selects equipment and system components necessary to meet project requirements
  • Coordinates the installation and start-up of new equipment with operations, contractors, and vendors
  • Remains current with latest innovations in equipment and components through industry literature, demonstrations, exhibitions, and vendor contact
  • Facilitates continuous improvement by evaluation of existing operations in light of new technology, team needs, and cost/benefit opportunities
  • Support process team in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities. Provide technical and analytical support for process improvement initiatives
  • Develop process analysis and re-engineering to improve efficiency, lower costs and improve product quality
  • Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques. Manage and lead process team to achieve desired results
  • Perform project management, analytics, and measure to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved
  • Coordinate with various teams to analyze project results and performance
  • Identify and manage resources to deliver effective solutions.

YOUR SKILLS

  • B.S. Engineering Discipline (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical or related)
  • 1-3 years previous experience in High-Speed Packaging Equipment OR Chemical Batch Processing Operations, ideally within Consumer Products
  • Working Knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software
  • Working Knowledge of Motor Controls, Sensors, Basic Electrical Power Distribution, and PLC Capabilities
  • Ability to Manage Multiple Project Assignments Concurrently
  • Project Management Skills including Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, Purchasing, Design and Layout, and Selection/Supervision of Contractors
  • Able to Work Effectively in Team Environment. Committed to Continuous Learning.
