Description:

The Process Improvement & Automation Manager is responsible for managing a dedicated team focused on continuous process improvement and automation through Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The ideal incumbent will lead the implementation and maintenance of RPA solutions and drive process improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage business process engagements across the organization to identify areas for improvement and execute solutions utilizing automation & the latest technology.
  • Support business in assessing current state, mapping optimal business processes, and implementing new process changes.
  • Gather and define business requirements, assess automation feasibility, and lead change management for new solutions.
  • Lead RPA third-party business partnerships, developers, and support platform maturity.
  • Lead/participate in the analysis of business processes and recommend automation or improvement options with business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Implement improvements in system capabilities to enhance associate productivity and improve customer experience.
  • Manage and prioritize backlog of improvements based on the needs of the business as well as implement effective governance models and procedures to ensure excellence across the organization.
  • Track and report on process KPIs, measure the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives and report on status.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5+ years’ experience in process improvement initiatives, automation, or improvement and productivity projects is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, demonstrated ability to develop and coach a team.
  • Experience with automation and BPM tools such as UiPath, Signavio, and Power Automate.
  • Experience mapping and designing business processes, LEAN, Six Sigma a plus.
  • Experience managing third-party relationships, implementation specialists, and business partners.
  • Detail and big-picture-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong technical aptitude, business process improvement, and transformation skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, effective communication to report on status and projects to varying audiences.
