In your Process Engineer role, you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

Process Engineers at our Paris, TX Kimberly-Clark site initiate, design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. The Process Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in design, development, optimization and implementation of process control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Align with organization (Staff, Plant, and Asset/Platform) objectives and performance metrics. Work as a team member to achieve those objectives.

  • Work with a cross functional team to develop and implement process improvement solutions using both simple (4SPS) and complex (6-sigma) problem solving techniques.

  • Support staff and plant driven product and process improvement projects from conception through commercialization.

  • Develop knowledge and skills in application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.

  • Develop knowledge and skills to apply Lean Manufacturing principles (visual management, standard work, etc.) to all aspect of the work

  • Work with Staff and other KC facilities world-wide to share ideas and increase technical efficiency using change management best practices (MOC).

  • Work with engineers to document changes made using CAD and the KC drawing management system.

  • Develop knowledge and skills to lead Capital Project implementations.

About You

You're also a college graduate with a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering , authorized to work in the United States, and have at least two years of continuous work experience.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial/Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or related field

  • Co-op/Intern experience at a KC location is desired but not required

  • Ability to work with others on a team

  • Hands on troubleshooting aptitude

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong desire to learn

  • Problem solving skills

  • Learn and adapt to new situations quickly

  • Goal Oriented/strong work ethic

  • Customer service attitude - recognizes who the customer is.

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Windows Office Suite, and statistical analysis software (such as Minitab or JMP).
