Join Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Sibley Inpatient Lactation team as a PRN Lactation Consultant!
Applicants must be International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. The LC is responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and breastfeeding families both in the immediate hospital and outpatient setting, and will provide educational in-services for staff members and instruction for pregnant and new families to insure consistent, accurate, quality knowledge based breastfeeding information
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Certified by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants
- Registered Nurse, preferred (DC RN license)
- Minimum of three years of experience in counseling breastfeeding mothers, preferred
Schedule:
- PRN- rotating 12 hr shifts
- PRN minimum requirement 36 hours in a 6-week schedule
