As a Privacy Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for helping YETI meet its data privacy & protection requirements for the collection and handling of personal data globally. You will work daily with the Technology and Ethics & Compliance teams, as well as various business partners to ensure that our domestic and international operations align with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and other frameworks (PCI, SOX). You firmly understand the impact of global data protection and privacy requirements corporate-wide and are passionate about building a culture of privacy and data protection at YETI.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the maintenance and evolution of the privacy program by managing technologies and practices (e.g., cookies and other tracking technologies)
• Analyze, monitor, and process data subject requests
• Assist with responding to internal inquiries regarding data governance and data usage to ensure compliance with privacy regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements
• Advise on complex data protection and privacy by design best practices through consistent analysis, feedback, and follow-through with internal business partners
• Perform privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for YETI's new and existing processes, services, and applications
• Coordinate annual privacy vendor due diligence process, working closely with technology and business partners to maintain comprehensive third party, asset, and data processing inventories
• Assist with overseeing and appropriately responding to internal and external audits of YETI's systems and procedures
• Contribute to the intake, triage, and analysis of reported data privacy incidents to ensure appropriate escalation to the team for rapid response and remediation
• Assist with the identification of privacy risks and maintenance of the privacy risk registry
• Support the development and operationalization of data protection infrastructure and process automation across the enterprise to address existing and upcoming privacy regulation requirements
• Contribute to the development of data protection awareness campaigns and training programs
• Help with the development and monitoring of the privacy roadmap
• Represent the team in day-to-day activities with YETI business, legal, and technology business partners

Qualifications and Attributes:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in a Compliance role involving privacy and data protection
• Relevant privacy or security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM)
• Experience with privacy technologies, such as OneTrust
• Deep knowledge of global data protection laws, standards, and associated frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, AICPA PMF)
• Strong track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional business partners
• History of managing privacy programs relating to web, advertising, and analytics technologies and practices (e.g., cookies and other tracking technologies)
• Strong technical understanding of data ecosystems and the technology that powers them
• Demonstrated ability to analyze sophisticated privacy and security concepts and apply them to real-world situations
• Experience working with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, IT, Product, and Security teams
