We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff to support our Walmart Information Security Business Engagement organization that specializes in Technical Portfolio Management and driving secure behaviors across the enterprise.

What you'll do:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement the organization's strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new opportunities, potential risks, and areas for organizational improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape to inform decision-making.
Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring effective coordination and communication across teams.
  • Streamline processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
Team Support:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Foster collaboration and synergy among different teams, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional communication and knowledge-sharing.
Project Management:
  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation to optimize utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our expertise.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and teams, ensuring effective two-way communication.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, cybersecurity, project management) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a cybersecurity or technology-focused organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to successfully oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, collaboration software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, trends, and best practices will be highly beneficial.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and manage ambiguity.
