Description

The Principal Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Principal Solutions Architect provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.

Responsibilities

For this role, we are looking for individuals who bring considerable technical breadth complimented by technical depth in one or two areas, business aptitude, and the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of the capabilities and services the SPARQ team delivers.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for engaging with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, and VP's

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Planning architectural strategy with hands-on leadership in ideation and implementation
  • Deliver solution designs, recommendations, and options based on business capability road-maps and requirements following API first model, enterprise security standards and reference architectures
  • Lead solution optioning and recommendations around sophisticated business problems
  • Ensure architecture alignment across domains and enabling functions (verticals and horizontals)
  • Lead, build, manage, and improve solution architectures to drive enablement of the longer-term roadmap
  • Provide technology mentorship and insight to business & technology Domain leaders
  • Provide experienced technical advice to domain delivery teams
  • Drive and facilitate the right discussions that determine solutions in relation to current and future technology landscape
  • Maintain awareness of vendor products and industry developments and trends to identify potential impacts and benefits to the Domain
  • Present recommendations and solutions clearly and concisely focusing on key points to portray the intended message or purpose based on audience
  • Facilitate development and implementation of architecture principles and technology standards within the assigned Domain and across the Enterprise; ensuring architecture alignment across domains
  • Drive alignment with corporate strategies through strong business and technical thought leadership
  • Works with peers from other segments and function areas on development and execution of Enterprise IT Standards and frameworks.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field
  • 10 or more years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
  • 2-5 years of project/people leadership
  • 2-5 years of experience with Cloud Computing & certifications in Cloud Technologies
  • 2-5 years of experience with platform implementation and transformation
  • 2-5 years of experience in agile development and work practices
  • Experience in leading thru organizational change
  • Experience in Management of large enterprise implementations
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate's degree
