Job Title: Helper I or II (8.3 or 8.4 WR Charleston)

Job Summary: Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by location.

Performs general manual labor tasks including, but not limited to:
- lifting and moving materials
- loading and unloading vehicles
- digging and refilling holes
- and other activities in a helping or assisting mode
- conducts other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D

At least 3 months working experience - this is an entry level role performing tasks at an Industrial Plant.

Basic Tappisafe training completed preferred.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
