PPE Reporting Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Fixed asset account management and month-end closing responsibilities, including the review of fixed asset roll-forward, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assisting in the compilation and analysis of accounting and finance information to produce financial statements, including notes and reports both internally and externally to FCA.
  • Approving lease classification determination and project spending classification (capital vs. expense).
  • Ensuring proper asset class is utilized in project approvals.
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with operating departments and serving as a reference point for issue resolution.
  • Lead contact for issue resolution and coordination of IFRS16 leases.
  • Working with Technical Accounting to provide guidance related to new pronouncements or changes.
  • Establishing and maintaining internal control procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Developing and implementing accounting practices and procedures.
  • Completing financial and compliance requirements external auditors and tax.
  • Drives continuous improvement and process initiatives throughout the area of responsibility.
  • Leading, training, and directing staff, including performance appraisals, training and development plans.
