Postdoctoral Scholar-Research Associate Position in Tumor Immunology
The Roussos Torres lab seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholar to study tumor immunology in breast cancer the Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology at the Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Southern California. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in tumor biology and immunology research using preclinical models to investigate the tumor microenvironment and to study response to therapy. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with mouse models and flow cytometry. These projects will be conducted as part of the broader projects investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms governing the suppressive tumor microenvironment (especially with regard to myeloid cell suppression), T cell activation and cytotoxic function. The postdoctoral scholar will also have the opportunity to conduct translational research using samples derived from patients in a well-mentored environment and work with collaborators in the department of translational genomics at this NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.
