Posting Summary:

Oversee the post award administration of the Vermont Lung Center (VLC) and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine (PCCM) Division. Provide post-award process facilitation between physicians, research faculty and staff, post-doctoral associates/fellows, and institutional financial management staff including close collaboration with DOM Pre-Award Office, UVM Sponsored Project Administration office and UVMMC financial staff. Ensure clear and consistent communication and practices (including the implementation of standardized financial practices for regulatory compliance) across a diverse and specialized group of faculty and staff spanning the university and hospital campuses. Reports to Department of Medicine Administrator with matrix-center reporting responsibility to the PCCM Division Chief, VLC Director and the Department of Medicine Research Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):

Bachelor's degree in business administration and two to four years' related experience to include demonstrated proficiency with developing and maintaining financial information systems, managing and coordinating complex projects, and high degree of attention to detail and accuracy required. Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

Prior financial and research administration experience with grants and clinical trials research highly desirable.
