Hays has partnered with a midsize NYC design consulting firm that's been in operation for over ten years on their search for a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Your new role

• Design and oversee the installation of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure the seamless integration of plumbing systems.
• Prepare detailed reports and project documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support to the construction team during project execution.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience
• Proven experience in plumbing design and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
