The Service Technician's main responsibility is to monitor the paint aids that are shipped out of GM. The Technician will visit the plant daily to observe and count the paint aids that are staged at the dock. If the daily shipping quantities are not staged, the Technician will alert the responsible onsite personnel. A daily spreadsheet will be filled out and emailed to the Customer's team.
Essential Functions:
- Know the names of all the paint aids
- Locate all put on and take off stations
- Be able to identify damaged, nonconforming paint aids
- Conduct quarterly inventory of paint aids
- Update and email a daily spreadsheet to GM personnel
- Meet with/contact GM personnel as needed to make sure paint aids are being cleaned
- Handle any concerns GM personnel may have concerning quality
- As needed, help with downloading paint aids
- Basic computer skills, Excel knowledge
- Able to use Outlook
