What We Are Looking For

The Human Resources Business Partner provides core functional HR support to the business with a focus on employee relations, employee and manager coaching, and talent acquisition. This role assists more senior HR professionals to provide support and deliver a variety of HR programs within the business or function(s) supported. With coordination of HR Managers or senior professionals, the HRBP may support various aspects of the organization's compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs.

What You Will Do
  • Provide core HR support to improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees
  • Provide core functional HR support to the business with a focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention
  • Develop plans by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action
  • Lead projects by clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions focused on supporting business change and/or related to HR initiatives and programs
  • Provide HR support to business and/or HR change initiatives, projects, programs under the direction of senior HR professionals
What You Will Bring
  • Required Degree: Bachelor's degree
  • Certificate(s): PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: 2-5 years' work experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with employee relations and mentoring supervisors preferred
  • Knowledge of hiring practices
  • Ability to use appropriate interpersonal methods to reduce tension or conflict and facilitate agreement
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
