JOB SUMMARY

SIGN ON BONUS $1500.00 New Hires Only

HIRINING IMMEDIATELY 

The Phlebotomist 2 collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in BSWH policies and procedures. Aids in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Assists with training and auditing of behaviors and performance, as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Follows all established specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and handling procedures.

Responsible for high customer satisfaction through professional and ethical conduct.

Performs job responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner.

Performs clerical duties.

Demonstrates engagement with achieving department goals and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and ability to perform laboratory protocols and procedures in accordance with regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

HIRING IMMEDIATELY
 

- LOCATION - BUMC Downtown Dallas TX Emergency Department 

- SHIFT - Day 12:00pm - 8:30pm 

- EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent

- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - 1 plus years of expereice woring in a high past laboratory and Emergency Department experiece 

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       Phlebotomy Technician (PBT): Must have a Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of these agencies:
ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCCT, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA, AAH or ACA.
