Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is looking for a BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist with an interest in motility or hepatology to join our team in Temple, TX. The experience, professionalism, commitment to patient care, and multidisciplinary nature of our caregivers, along with the resources that McLane Children’s Scott & White can offer in terms of diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, make the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at McLane Children’s unique. 

Position Highlights:
Physician will be fifth in the group
Affiliation with Texas A&M HSC 
Pediatric Special Procedures Unit for endoscopies, including motility with dedicated pediatric anesthesia support 
Opportunity to participate in lectures, grand rounds, research and quality improvement projects 
6 satellite locations (From Waco to south of Austin) 
Live in the Austin and surrounding areas
Pediatric Residency Program 

About McLane Children's Medical Center: 
Our five-story McLane Children’s Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children’s Hospital. The hospital features include 112 patient beds: 48 private medical/surgical rooms, 16 private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24- hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, 48 bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty or board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
