Payroll Analyst I

Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide support for the payroll process for the Light Industrial group, with main focus on the Reno PDC.

• Monitor and maintain data analysis between payroll and HR.

• Reconcile and process payroll information for the time & attendance system received from the HR business partners for the Reno PDC for adjustments for benefit deductions, refunds, time accrual adjustments and the attendance policy support.

• Maintain database of reports of payroll data for Light Industrial.

• Provide payroll metrics to the Light Industrial HR group and Payroll departments.

• Create ad hoc reports from the time & attendance system and make adjustments to existing reports.

• Execute data analysis and corresponding reports to Human Resources and other Payroll partners.

• Participate in payroll related projects. System upgrades and conversions, data integrity projects, process mapping, etc. Proactively research time & attendance inquiries for process improvements.

• Assist with monitoring the Payroll inbox and answer tier 1/tier 2 time & attendance inquiries

• Attend Light Industrial HR meetings as required

Experience / Education

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 1-2 years of experience or a 2-year degree and equivalent related experience

• Payroll experience required

• Intermediate Excel skills

• Time & Attendance experience preferred

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
