What You'll Be Doing
Provide support for the payroll process for the Light Industrial group, with main focus on the Reno PDC.
Monitor and maintain data analysis between payroll and HR.
Reconcile and process payroll information for the time & attendance system received from the HR business partners for the Reno PDC for adjustments for benefit deductions, refunds, time accrual adjustments and the attendance policy support.
Maintain database of reports of payroll data for Light Industrial.
Provide payroll metrics to the Light Industrial HR group and Payroll departments.
Create ad hoc reports from the time & attendance system and make adjustments to existing reports.
Execute data analysis and corresponding reports to Human Resources and other Payroll partners.
Participate in payroll related projects. System upgrades and conversions, data integrity projects, process mapping, etc. Proactively research time & attendance inquiries for process improvements.
Assist with monitoring the Payroll inbox and answer tier 1/tier 2 time & attendance inquiries
Attend Light Industrial HR meetings as required
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 4-year degree and 1-2 years of experience or a 2-year degree and equivalent related experience
Payroll experience required
Intermediate Excel skills
Time & Attendance experience preferred
