Position Summary

The Payments & Operations Coordinator provides timely customer service to all members and teammates through daily payment processing. Essential duties include coordination of information from various sources and the ability to navigate multiple systems to research and resolve issues, tasks, and responsibilities.

Essential Duties

  • Scans, indexes, and verifies Credit Union documents to maintain accuracy and proper retention
  • Regularly verifies documents stored off-site that have been imaged, logs the documents in the destruction log, and destroys the original document
  • Accurately process daily mail to include deposits, loan payments, correspondence from outside vendors, outgoing payments & correspondence, and process return mail
  • Management of plastic replenishments and audits
  • Responsible for all document and card destruction in compliance with the Credit Union Record Retention Policy
  • Assist with Foreign Collection and Return Deposit items
  • Responds to member and teammate research requests
  • Monitors various department email inboxes and phone loop
  • Assists with the posting of incoming wires
  • Assists teammates with questions, problems and requests concerning electronic documents and document retrieval
  • Champion organizational culture both internally and externally; consistently demonstrate Amplify's service standards and promote same amongst teammates

To be qualified for this role, you must have the following:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A strong desire to help others.
  • A passion for following processes to ensure no steps are missed.
  • Prior financial services experience preferred but not required.

Location and Schedule
This position will work from our offices at 13050 Pond Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78729. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an hour for lunch.

Starting Pay & Benefits
Starting pay for this position is $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. It also entails the benefits available to all Amplify employees.
