CUMULUS | Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced part-time News Anchor/Reporter for the combined WBAP/KLIF News Departments. Our ideal candidate should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Worth metro area: KTCK 1310 The Ticket, KPLX 99.5 The Wolf, KSCS 96.3 New Country, WBAP 820 News/Talk, KLIF-AM 570 News/Talk, & KLIF-FM Hot 93.3. Responsibilities:

• Individual will be called upon to anchor newscasts for WBAP/KLIF at the top and bottom of the hour
• Individual will perform various news duties as needed, with the potential of working odd hours as news stories dictates
• Individual will be called upon to interview newsmakers and produce stories for newscasts

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Candidates for this position must have at least three years large to major market experience in radio news
• Familiarity with digital audio editing software required.
• Experience with long-form, breaking, non-scripted, long-form news coverage is vital
• Familiarity with website posting and social media platforms required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly desirable
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good at problem solving and prioritizing
• Great team player
