Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

  • Ability to provide customer service.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to understand policies and procedures.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate and tactfully deal with people.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skill in operating a computer and related software.
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform motor assistance
  • Ability to boot and impound vehicles
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle at all times of day and night as job requires
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for extended periods of time.
  • Knowledge of University parking rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Board of Regents and university rules and regulations.
  • Experience held in security related field or security sensitive position.
  • Experience using a parking management system and parking enforcement hardware including LPR technology.

Job Description:

Enforce parking regulations which include issuance of parking tickets, impounding and booting illegally parked vehicles, providing reserved parking, entering parking data, and providing information and customer service at the parking control booths.

Additional Information to Applicants:

Position will require night, weekend and holiday hours when necessary.
We will be hiring for 5 different shifts. They are:
(one) 9 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday shift
(two) 11 am - 7 pm, Monday through Friday shifts
(two) 11 am - 9 pm, Monday through Thursday shifts
