SUMMARY:

This is a customer service position responsible for clerical tasks and various projects, as needed including issuing parking permits, answering inquiries regarding the parking rules and regulations, or working on marketing projects for the Director of Parking & Transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform routine clerical duties such as issuing permits, preparing mailings, and answering phone and email correspondence. This position requires workers to ride all transportation shuttles and the GRTC bus to gain knowledge of the routes and stops.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, close attention to detail, ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, and great customer service etiquette. This position requires a confidentiality statement agreeing that any police matter overheard in the office will remain confidential. Due to the importance of confidentiality, discussing police or parking issues can result in termination.

WORK HOURS:

  • Part-time, non-exempt position
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; May (or June) through August
SALARY STRUCTURE:
Pay Grade 1 (Rate starting at $15.00 per hour)
