Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Packaging Operator

Position type: Full-time/ Contract
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Location: Orangeburg, SC

The Packing Operator is responsible and accountable for ensuring all finished products are packaged according to proper specifications and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stacking product
Perform packaging evaluation checks
Perform sanitation duties, etc
May also assist with running the production packaging lines
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Standing on a concrete floor
Must be capable of working at elevated heights and or confined space
Wear proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform)
Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting to 55 lbs
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals

The ideal candidate will have:

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Experience working within manufacturing environment is a plus

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Full-time
Day Shift - 7am to 7:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Night Shift - 7pm to 7:30am Monday through Thursday
48hrs a week
Need someone who can commit to the duration of the assignment
Dress code: uniform and PPE (provided by company) - must wear steel-toe/composite toe shoes (NOT provided by company)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $15.30 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
