Responsibilities

Functions under the direction of the Imaging Project Manager and Medical Imaging Director. Functions under the direction of the Medical Imaging Project Manager and Medical Imaging Director. Assist in preparation and coordination of all management reports statistical data. Assists in coordinating information to all departments of Medical Imaging. Responsible for performing a wide variety of clerical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative.
Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

• High School graduate
• Prefer 1 to 2 years of college or additional training in computers, medical terminology

Preferred Minimum Experience

• Prefer a minimum of one-year secretarial experience
• Prefer hospital experience

Required Minimum Skills

• Excellent communication, typing and organizational skills
• Experience in computer usage, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Horizon Supply Source order processing
• The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's What's Expected of You as a WellStar Team Member").
• Able to work scheduled hours
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Knows the existing lines of communication and authority, handles communications properly and is dependable, cooperative and emotionally stable

Preferred Minimum Skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to research whether invoices have been paid would be a plus
