VCA Veterinary Emergency Service and Veterinary Specialty Center is a steadily expanding, emergency and specialty hospital group in the Madison, WI looking for a residency trained or board-certified Oncologist to join our team.

We have two locations (Madison & Middleton) which are staffed by a progressive team of ER doctors, specialists, and a highly skilled group of CVTs and Assistants. Our specialty departments include: Oncology, Surgery, Critical Care, and Internal Medicine. Our management philosophy is centered around customer service, whether our customer is our patient, the owner, and our referring veterinarian. Our mission to exceed client expectations fosters a team/customer focused/patient care oriented environment with encouraged collaborative decision making. Our goal is to empower our staff to be fully engaged providing the best care/service possible.

Madison now boasts two new surgery suites, a surgical procedure room, a dedicated oncology suite and an internal medicine suite. VCA-VES/VSC Madison also has an endoscopy suite, a chemotherapy administration suite with an industry standard biological safety cabinet, and ultrasound. A multi- slice CT is housed at both VCA-VES/VSC Middleton and Madison, as well as on-site location for Antech Labs in our Middleton hospital that treats all our labs as stat requests. Results integrate into our medical records system and most results are available within an hour.

With the creation of VCA's Pet CancerCare Alliance™, you can be a part of a unique brain trust of over 65 veterinary oncologists and a network of over 35 Pet CancerCare Centers across North America. Our Medical, Radiation and Surgical Oncologists work together to bring advanced treatments, technology and education to all veterinarians by providing collaborative care, research, clinical trials and leadership to help ensure that pets are living their best possible lives.
