RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a .NET Core Developer to work on a comprehensive modernization initiative to replace the legacy system data collection and associated reporting applications and reports from the ground up.Responsibilities include but are not be limited to:

• Creation of sound and high-quality technical deliverables in cloud environments and on prem
• Microservices development to include domain modeling for microservices development
• Plans and coordinates the development of data structures, identifies and incorporates the specific data elements to be used in the system or design
• Creation of software solutions by studying requirements analysis, information needs, utilizing best software development practices; Conferring with stakeholders and IT management; Studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; Performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions
• Use of various programming languages and tools to include but not limited to .NET Core, C#, JSON, CSOM, RESTful API, PHP, Active Server Page (ASP), Visual Studio, HTML, JavaScript, Java Applets, visual basic script, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Ajax, XML, and other related web languages and tools for the development and deployment of web and mobile applications
• Implementation of secure coding solutions to prevent/mitigate coding vulnerabilities
• Strong collaboration and communication within distributed project teams and in an Agile environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3+ years of Professional experience in .NET Core, C#, JSON, CSOM, REST API, PHP, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Visual Basic, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Java Applets, visual basic script, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Ajax, XML, MS SQL Server, and other RDMS and database tools
• Professional experience developing microservices, specifically moving from monolithic to microservices
• Professional experience with Domain Driven Development (DDD)
• Professional experience with Kubernetes
• Professional experience with Azure, Azure Kubernetes, and other Azure software development technologies
• Strong experience in an Agile environment
• Preference toward candidates currently local to Utah
