Job Description
Led by WNET, the #PBSForTheArts campaign encompasses a variety of programs filmed within the constrictions of COVID built to showcase what happened when COVID hit, how the live arts industry responded, adapted and evolved.

An immediate opportunity exists for a Multimedia Producer, reporting to the PBS for the Arts project lead, to plan, coordinate and create short-form video, static imagery and written features to support the #PBSForTheArts campaign. Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited, to:

* Produce and edit social-optimized #PBSForTheArts-branded videos for distribution on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts;
* Produce and edit #PBSForTheArts-branded short-form videos for distribution on PBS.org;
* Design static imagery;
* Work with multiple PBS stations, arts producers and arts institutions across the country to curate video footage and other content that will be edited by the #PBSForTheArts team
* Coordinate occasional production of shoots with PBS stations, arts producers and arts institutions across the country;
* Write arts features for posting on PBS.org;
* Liaise, as necessary, with various other internal and external departments and project stakeholders, including publicity, production services, finance and legal;
* Additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications include:
* At least three (3) years' experience in pre- and post-production;
* Ability to edit video, and design static and motion graphics;
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and AfterEffects;
* Knowledge of best practices for producing video for distribution on websites, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts;
* Experience writing for websites and/or other publications;
* Experience with Media Asset Management systems;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
* Proficiency with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube;
* Strong knowledge of the arts;
* Exceptional planning, organization, problem analysis and decision-making skills;
* Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Candidates with experience in public media are preferred.
