OVERVIEW

The National Mortgage Warehouse Sales leader will be a dynamic individual with outstanding written and oral communication skills. This individual will be the point person to develop new, profitable warehouse lending relationships that meet the banks credit risk standards. The candidate must have a strong understanding of Warehouse Credit Facilities and associated terms and processes. This position will work with Senior Management to manage, monitor a portfolio of warehouse facility relationships within the Bank's standards and policies. This position is a base salary plus commission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Candidate will be primary contact point to prospect new warehouse partnerships for the Bank. Oversight and management of prospective new warehouse partners including initial review and processing of Warehouse Applications.
  • Lead or participate in trade shows and conventions, conduct, or participate in training and onboarding including making direct field visits to select partners.
  • Ability to demonstrate Bank's products and services to potential partners and assist in renewal and retention efforts.
  • Candidate will work directly with Owners, Principles or Secondary Market Managers at Independent Mortgage Bankers to solicit mutually beneficial warehouse lending partnerships.
  • Continually monitor and evaluate credit worthiness of partners. Assist with management of portfolio ensuring covenant compliance and documentation standards.
  • Actively inquire and address partner issues related to pricing, changes to structure or violations.
  • Work with both Operation and Credit groups to ensure facilities are within compliance and are performing as expected. Report any discrepancies.
  • Provide Senior Management with reports on partners competitive activities, needs and potential for new products and services.
  • Participate or utilize any Sales related database as necessary.
  • Other projects or tasks may be directed by management from time to time.
What Do You Need for this Position?

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 7+ Years with demonstrated ability to generate and manage warehouse facilities.
  • Existing, active warehouse lending partnerships with independent mortgage bankers a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage multiple, remote relationships into compliant and profitable bank partnerships.
  • Working knowledge of Depository Services including Treasury Management.
  • Candidate must be persistent, goal-oriented with ability to meet defined deadlines.
  • Candidate must have ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Display critical thinking and conflict resolution skills. Strong oral and written communications a must.
  • Extensive knowledge in the residential mortgage warehouse sector with experience in sales management, pipeline management, and warehouse credit facilities.
  • Demonstrates ability to thrive in a regulated environment and with the government agencies (OCC, FHLB, FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA).
  • Strong familiarity with Warehouse Lending Software and related industry components.
  • Computer proficient with background in Microsoft Suite of products including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of Secondary Market and mortgage loan regulations and guidelines.
  • Candidate must be familiar with a variety of Warehouse Lending Credit Facility types including Non-Delegated, Delegated, Bid Tapes and Participations.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with all types of relationships including both internal and external partnerships.
