Position: Mold Technician

Location: Erie, PA

Rehrig Pacific Company is looking for an individual with a strong work ethic, some basic knowledge of wiring and hydraulics and a desire to learn to become a Mold Technician at our Erie manufacturing plant, this position is for 8 hr. floater shift, Sunday through Thursday 9pm - 5:30am. For the right individual we will train you to become a highly skilled Mold Technician in an injection molding facility. This position is full-time and includes a competitive benefits package (see details below)!

General Responsibilities Include:

• Install molds per scheduling requirements
• Perform level 1 to level 4 mold Preventative Maintenance
• Perform "Check and Make Ready" mold preparations per schedule
• Repair molds, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic tool and die and repair / rebuild of hot runner systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, both in and out of the press. This may require collaboration with other departments if the issue is not clearly a mold issue.
• Perform in-press mold Preventative Maintenance per schedule
• Teach new skills to other members of the department / plant
• Fill out all paperwork as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Processing skills to start up after mold changes
• Robot programming skills
• EOAT installation

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Work Ethic

Following Skills a plus / Not required:

• Forklift certified.
• Overhead crane experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring required for proximity sensors and limit switches
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic functions
