Our Client is seeking a Mid Level Android Developer in Irving, TX.

Role Description

As a developer, you will be responsible for developing highly available apps, with user interface components using Java/Kotlin/React/Flutter based Native apps. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how our application looks as well as how it works. You will work closely with the rest of the backend/ dependent teams and help see the app rolled out. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, design, eager to learn new technology and produce quality product is important.

Your areas of expertise span historical practices, best practices and innovations in the development of digital experiences. You have a passion for hands-on coding, putting the customer first and delivering an exceptional experience through the creation of extendable and re-usable products.

You are curious to see where technology and the industry is going and constantly strive to keep up through personal projects and learning. If required, you must be willing to wear any of the other hats that is required to make the project successful and be always ready to learn new technology on the fly and deliver the results.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• (8+ for Sr, 4+ for Mid) Relevant years of experience as a technology advocate in mobile app/game development, tools and APIs development or SDK/library projects.
• Experience in programming for Android applications using Java or Kotlin.
• Experience with REST APIs and JSON data structures.
• Design, develop, and support our fully native Online Access mobile application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design vision into reality
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
