Overview:

The Merchandise Area Supervisor will take the lead in overseeing the operation of a group of retail locations in the park. The Area supervisor also provides guidance to supervisors and team leads with the coaching and developing of retail associates.

How You'll Make A Difference:

· Coach and develop leadership and associates on job performance and have developmental discussions as necessary.

· Train new leadership and associates on the job for tasks including, register procedures, cleaning, stocking, and guest engagement.

· Ensure that leadership and associates are adhering to departmental and company policies and procedures and enforce policies when necessary.

· Ensure all associates are providing exceptional guest service and respond to elevated guest concerns.

· Ensure that all associates are preventing violations of labor laws for minors.

· Execute an operating plan for the assigned location that emphasizes proper associate placement.

· Ensure opening/closing procedures are followed for assigned locations.

· Resolve guest concerns, provides recommendations to correct reoccurring guest service issues.

· Identify and report maintenance related work orders and communicate immediate concerns.

· Take ownership of area appearance and performance and the productivity of assigned team.

· Manage inventory levels by completing daily stocking tasks, inputting inventory transfers, creating and inputting stock requisitions and other tasks as needed to maintain inventory integrity.

· Maintain visual displays, focal tables, and design elements of assigned locations.

· Assist in product placement using visual merchandising strategies under the direction of an Area Manager.

· Other duties as assigned

We're Looking For:

· Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

· Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

· Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

· Available to work 35-40 hours a week during summer season.

· 1 year supervisory experience required.

· Theme park experience preferred.
