Earn $17.00/ hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Position Details

The Mental Health Worker works with and adheres to the safety and welfare of all consumers with mental and behavioral health diagnoses in their residential programs while carrying out direct care responsibilities and participates in and follows the treatment planning process. The facility is a small (up to 7 residents), home-like setting in a residential neighborhood. The Mental Health Worker will organize and engage residents in community-based recovery based and recreational activities (movies, shopping, eating out, parks, etc)and lead/Co-lead educational and recreational group activities. They will coach/model/educate on activities of daily living (cooking, cleaning, hygiene, budgeting, shopping) and communication skills- residents are independent with personal care (staff are not hands-on with showering, etc. but they will provide reminders and education about social norms and safety and provide support/comfort/guidance to residents

• Valid driver's license

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Mental health experience preferred but not required
