Description:

Performs patient care and lab duties delegated by the RN or MD, as well as data collection, data entry, analysis, and generation of reports.

Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD

Minimum licensure/certification required (if applicable):

Medical Assistant certification/diploma from a school of medical assistant is required.

National certification from an accredited certifying organization approved by Trinity Health such as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered medical Assistant (RMA), National Certified Medical Assistant(NCMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant(CCMA) is required.

Current C.P.R. certification required.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

Post high school education, bachelor's degree preferred. Medical or patient care experience necessary. Excellent phlebotomy skills necessary Research and data analysis experience preferred. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language Visual accuracy Auditory acuity Bilingual preferred Computer literacy, must know EHR Micro Soft Word and EXCEL. Ability to coordinate eyes and hands quickly and accurately Ability to identify and distinguish color, temperature, texture, and size Ability to work closely with assigned provider to coordinate patient care. Must be able to bend body downward at the waist and be able to kneel.
