St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.

St. Christopher's has more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, combining top-notch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties including Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Orthopedics. It houses the only Verified Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities

Certified Medical Assistant works with the nursing staff independently to deliver routine nursing care and assessment of the pediatric patient. Coordinates and organizes pertinent patient information. Communicates and interacts with patient, families, staff and physicians and administration.

Schedule:
1st 90 days he/she will follow preceptor's schedule (e.g. 8a - 4:30p or 8:30a - 5:00p). Present hours 9a - 5:30. Note: Evening/Sat temporarily suspended. Once in place: Thereafter, shift will rotate. 11a- 8:30p (Mon - Wed); 9a - 5:30p (Thurs); Off (Fri); 8a - 12p (Sat). Shift will change according to staffing needs.
