About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in Duluth, GA. This role assembles standard electrical industrial control panels.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Measure and Layout panel based on mechanical prints and BOM.
• Drills, taps holes and makes any necessary panel cuts following appropriate standards.
• Mounts components to back panel following layout and appropriate standards.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Education:

• No education required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent is preferred.

Knowledge / training:

• Read mechanical prints and BOMs.
• Use power tool (drills, bandsaw, taps) and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of company quality standards and procedures, including safety.

Experience:

• No previous experience required. 1+ year of related experience is preferred.
