Description:
JDP is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Atlanta, GA area!

Responsibilities:

• Design and specify piping systems between unit operations
• Specify process equipment including pumps, tanks, vessels
• Review & approve vendor/contractor vessel calculations
• Make recommendations on equipment as necessary
• Develop maintenance procedures for pumps, tanks, vessels, and piping
• Develop piping for specification standards for different systems
• Review and approve Vendor/Contractor vessel calculations
• Lead equipment vendor qualification process for new fabricators
• Assist with local, state, and federal permitting applications

Requirements:

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years' experience with piping design and specification
• 5+ years' experience with fixed/rotating equipment design and specification
• 5+ years' experience with API standards related to pumps, tanks, vessels, and piping
• Self-starter with strong initiative
• Ability to manage multiple project with different deadlines
